And for dinner?
So the day of conferencing is over, and now it’s time for dinner; but where do you go? Oxfordshire has a host of delicious dining options across the county to tantalise all taste buds. Here are five of our favourites for sumptuous suppers, and evening entertainment.
Opening less than a month ago, the gorgeous Acanthus Restaurant at the Macdonald Randolph Hotel serves the perfect blend of contemporary city centre bistro and unique character. With a mouth-watering seasonal menu, the lovely new restaurant is a brilliant choice to treat your delegates.
The Brasserie at enchanting Eynsham Hall was completed in November 2015, and occupies what was once the Mason family’s billiard room. With seasonal British food sourced from local farmers and suppliers, head chef Simon Bradley can serve your guests a superb meal of uncomplicated, unrushed and authentic seasonal British food.
Blenheim Palace is a beautiful place to hold any event, and if you want a venue to truly spoil your delegates why not hire The Orangery for your evening dinner. The restaurant was new for 2016, and is an elegant option for your guests to indulge in a delicious brasserie style meal.
The stunning Ashmolean museum is a fantastic venue for meetings and events, and one of our favourite things they offer is the hire of their Randolph Sculpture Gallery. Here you and your guests can indulge in a delicious dinner amongst their fabulous collection of Greek and Roman sculptures – you’ll quite literally be dining amongst history!
Opera Anywhere offer exciting and engaging evening entertainment for events, including the hire of their singing waiters and waitresses. If you want to give your delegates an evening meal they won’t forget, why not invite Opera Anywhere to provide some surprise evening entertainment – your delegates will never suspect their servers to burst into song midway through serving the main course!
