Enjoy a day making decorations and other Christmas items under the supervision of the Heritage and Rural Skills Centre’s resident blacksmith, David Gregory. Learn the fundamentals of blacksmithing and then put them to use making festive items.

Starting with that all important chat about safety, you will then get straight to it, learning to hammer metal to a point and spread it. You’ll then make and finish a range of Christmas items to take home with you.
Suitable for beginners, no previous blacksmithing experience required.
