It’s Halloween, and time for a fun fancy dress Fam Jam!

Come dressed as your favourite spooky character for Halloween themed games, creative activities and dancing for you and your little ones in a Halloween party atmosphere.
Sessions are led by Roly Carline. This event is part of Dancin’ Oxford’s Family Dance Festival.
There are two sessions. Each session is 60 minutes. 11.00-12.00 and 14.00-15.00.
Please make sure to arrive on time.
This workshop is focused on children aged 5 and under and their carers. But brothers and sisters are welcome too!
This event will include loud music and flashing lights. A separate quiet space will be available for all families attending the session. Please contact the museum if you have a specific questions about how they can make your visit more accessible.
Tickets cost £3 and can be purchased online via Eventbrite (booking fee applies) or at the Museum Shop. Children must be supervised at all times by a parent or carer. One child ticket includes free admission for one accompanying adult. Please ensure all children have their own ticket.
It is recommend that you book in advance to secure your place.
Sales from tickets help support the Museum’s work to deliver fun and accessible family activities, community engagement projects, schools workshops, exhibitions and special events for Oxford’s people in Museum spaces.

Scaffolding at Oxford Town Hall
From August 2025, scaffolding will be in place outside Oxford Town Hall. Both entrances to the Town Hall (main steps and level access entrance) will remain fully open and accessible while these essential maintenance works are carried out. More information can be found on the Plan Your Visit page. Access
There is step-free, level entry access to the Town Hall via the entrance closest to Carfax Tower (to the left of the main steps as you face the Town Hall). Inside the Museum, Museum Makers is accessible via a platform lift to the Galleries and then a lift to the basement. Accessible toilets are available in the Museum (close to Museum Makers) and in the Town Hall on the ground floor, before entering the Museum. Please contact the Museum team if you’d like to talk to a member of staff about your access requirements. Further access information can be found on the page dedicated to access at the museum.
