Iain Ballamy @ Frank and Mark’s

Internationally acclaimed jazz saxophonist Iain Ballamy and renowned drummer Martin France join Frank Harrison and Mark Hodgson at their new monthly jazz night in Iffley Church Hall, Oxford.

Iain Ballamy is internationally recognised as a saxophonist and composer. Listed in the BBC’s publication ‘100 Jazz Greats’ between Count Basie and Chet Baker his work is contemporary with both strong jazz and classical references but un-encumbered by formality and tradition.

Frank and Mark’s is a new jazz night curated by local musicians Frank Harrison (piano) and Mark Hodgson (bass). Each month they invite their favourite contemporary jazz musicians from the UK and beyond to the intimate setting of Iffley Church Hall.
