Join Kelmscott Manor for a Natural Dyeing workshop.

Natural dyer Kate Turnbull will talk you through the process of natural dyeing, mindful foraging, colour extraction and hue modification using some of William Morris textiles as a starting point.
You will leave with a range of samples and instructions so that you can continue to develop your new skills at home! The day will include: Introductory talk about natural dyeing, ethical foraging & plant identification.
Foraging in the Manor grounds.
Demonstration followed by dye extraction
Colour modification to develop palette
Overview and Q&A, to include how to set up your own kitchen dyery!
Find out more about Kate and her work here. The workshop runs from 10.30am -4.30pm and costs £95, all materials included. Please note tea/coffee and cake will be provided but you will need to bring your own lunch as the tearoom will not be open and lunch will not be provided.
