Oxfordshire Artweeks is the UK’s oldest and biggest artist open studios & pop-up exhibition event and they are delighted to be celebrating their 40th anniversary this year.
From 7th-29th May you can feast your eyes on a huge range of creative activity by hundreds of artists, makers and designers in artists’ studios, pop-up galleries, glorious gardens, ancient churches, medieval tithe barns and hundreds of other amazing venues across Oxfordshire See website for details.
Enjoy artists’ painting, photography, textiles, sculpture and ceramics; be amazed by woodworking, glass art, mosaics and jewellery and be intrigued by contemporary installations and multidisciplinary practice. Oxfordshire Artweeks is a chance to talk to artists and creatives about their work, watch demonstrations and even have a go yourself. Be inspired, entertained and delighted: browse, and even choose a treasure to take home with you.
Week 1: 7th-15th May studios open across Oxford;
Week 2: 14th-22nd May explore South Oxfordshire locations, the Thames and the Ridgeway;
Week 3: 21st-29th May North Oxfordshire & the Cotswolds welcome you.
All venues are drop-in, free to visit and have committed to be Covid-secure.
Opening hours are generally 11am-6pm: they vary however, so please confirm times for individual venues before travelling.
