Banbury has a long history of holding services for Remembrance Sunday, and this year will be no different. Join a military parade through the centre of town towards St Mary’s Church, where a service will be carried out.

From there, visitors are encouraged to follow on to People’s Park, where a wreath laying ceremony will be performed at the war memorial.

What to Expect:
– Remembrance Sunday parade – A military parade through the centre of town, featuring figures from dozens of regiments and organisations.

– Church service at St Mary’s Church – Featuring poems, speeches and hymns in honour of those who have lost their lives to war.
