The Westmill Wind Farm and Solar Park is a pioneering community energy hub, located on the Oxfordshire/Wiltshire border.

Completed in 2011, Westmill is unique with both wind and solar community-owned electricity generation on one site. In fact, the solar park was the first community-owned of its kind in the UK.

Here is your chance to come and see how it all works!

Join Westmill on-site learn about renewable energy and hear the eventful history of the site. Then, find out about the installation and energy generation of the five turbines and over twenty-thousand solar panels.

This tour offers a unique, intimate and understandable perspective on how a wind farm and solar park works, all led by a team of friendly volunteer guides!
