1. Spooktacular Half-Term at Blenheim Palace
From train rides through a terribly terrifying tunnel and Frightful Fire performances in the Great court to Spooky Stories in the Cinema, a Silly Scarecrow Trail for small children and Spine-Chilling Statues who have come to life inside the Palace there are thrills and shrieks for all the family to enjoy.
Dare to take a Spooky Tour of the Palace as you wander through the Palace State Rooms hunting for ghouls.

2. The Witch’s House at Cogges Manor Farm
It has long been said that the 13th century Manor House at Cogges is home to spirits and ghouls… Now, we don’t know about that, but for one week only, it is going to be transformed into a magical coven by the freindliest witch around. Flying in for 9 days over October half term, she will transform the usually serene rooms into a spooky trail of lights, potions, pumpkins and more.

3. Haunted Ghost Walk with Bill Spectre
Join Bill Spectre on his award-winning theatrical Ghost Trail of Oxford as he lifts the lid on this great seat of learning. This entertainment based tour is illustrated with props and illusions. Bill in costume with his black top hat, will lead you through the streets of Oxford revealing the darker side of this most ancient city.

4. Ghost Fest at Oxford Castle & Prison
Join Oxford Castle & Prison for Ghost Fest if you dare… it’s their biggest, most action-packed festival yet! This year the Castle have a range of activities, from family-friendly events to experiences that will leave you quaking in your boots. Includes a murder-mystery evening, to trick-or-treat trails in the Castle, and spooky tours of the Castle in the evening. Don’t be a scaredy-cat, come along for a spook!

5. Halloween Land at Cotswolds Farm Park
There’s plenty going on in the October half-term at Cotswold Farm Park to keep little ones entertained. Decorate your own pumpkin fresh from the patch, choose a fearsome face painting design and enjoy lots of other spooky activities.

6. Fairytale Baddies and Spooks at Fairytale Farm
It is time to meet those spooky fairytale characters at the family-friendly Fairytale Farm ‘Fairytale Baddies and Spooks’ event. The event includes free games and activitie for younger children, including free pumpkin carving, spooky biscuit decorating and a colouring corner. Free treats for visitors who dress up for the occasion!

7. The Great Pumpkin Hunt at Waterperry Gardens
Join The Great Pumpkin Hunt throughout the October half term at beautiful Waterperry Gardens, the perfect way to keep the kids entertained in the outdoors. Find the decorated pumpkins hidden around the gardens and collect a prize at the end!

8. Good Gourd, What is That? at Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum
