Running Shift Engineer Vacancy
Monday to Friday £19.93 per hour. Saturday and Sunday £27.89 per hour

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Running Shift Engineer to work within our Engineering team. The role involves responding to vehicles on the road which are experiencing technical issues, as well as the inspection and quality repairs to our fleet of company vehicles. At all times this must be done to Company and Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) standards.

The successful applicant must be able to work unsupervised to company and DVSA standards and have experience of working with PCV or HGVs. A City and Guilds, Level 3/NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, is essential as is a full manual driving licence.

You will be required to work 37 hours per week on a rotating shift basis. The ideal candidate will have an ability to stay calm under pressure, to prioritise workload and to work to a high degree of accuracy unsupervised. You must be good team player and be able to communicate appropriately at all levels.

Day Shift Engineering Vacancies
37 hours. £17.35 per hour Mon – Fri. £22.53 Sat – Sun

We are looking for two motivated and skilled day shift Mechanical Engineers to work within our Engineering team. The role involves inspection and quality repair work to our fleet of company vehicles and ensuring that this is done to Company and Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) standards.

The successful applicants must be able to work unsupervised to company and DVSA standards and have experience of working with PCV or HGVs. A City and Guilds, Level 3/NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, is essential as is a full manual driving licence.

You will be required to work 37 hours per week, from 07:00 – 15:00, Monday to Thursday and 07.00 – 14.00 Friday. The ideal candidate will have an ability to stay calm under pressure, to prioritise workload and to work to a high degree of accuracy unsupervised. You must be a good team player and be able to communicate appropriately at all levels.
