Premises Assistant – Bodleian Libraries
The Bodleian Libraries are looking to recruit a premises assistant to join their Premises Team. The Taylor Institution Library is one of the University of Oxford’s principal research libraries. It is the centre for the study of modern and medieval European languages and literatures, together with linguistics, world cinema, and women’s studies.
You will be part of a team responsible for the smooth and secure running of the Taylor Institution, and for ensuring that rooms are set up as required for lectures and events. Regular duties will include reception duties, assisting with closing routines and locking up, moving furniture and carrying out some basic cleaning and maintenance tasks when required. You may be required to work some of your hours at other libraries.

This is a permanent contract, working 22 hours per week as follows: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 1.30 pm to 5 pm – Wednesday and Friday 1.30 pm to 7.15 pm. Some cover outside core hours may be required on an occasional basis.
