The Bicester Festival is an annual celebration of the arts, taking place at venues throughout the town during two weeks in September. The festive fortnight (11 to 26 September) offers experiences for all ages and will include pop-up art events, street performances and a spectacular parade. It’s all set in the historic and vibrant town of Bicester, famed for its shopping, hospitality and strong connections with the motor industry.

Perhaps Old Time Sailors all more your thing? Head to Bicester on Sunday 26 September to be entertained by this motley crew! Be prepared for foot-stomping fun with Captain Nicholas Moffat and his lively band of 17 musicians from around the world, bringing traditional tunes ashore for a sea shanty and Celtic reels musical feast. The Old Time Sailors will also be involved in our Sea Change parade later on Sunday 26 September. Celebrating our theme which draws inspiration from dramatic environmental and social change, our visual and musical spectacular will meander through the roads and green spaces in Bicester. Look out for our giant mechanical puppets, upcycled pushchairs and decorated bicycles!
