Garsington Opera is a critically acclaimed summer opera festival set in the heart of the beautiful rolling Chiltern Hills. Guests enjoy an unforgettable evening in the award-winning glass Opera Pavilion at Wormsley, home of the Getty family. Just 40 minutes from London and minutes from M40 J5, this beautiful setting offers an unrivalled experience. Intimate in scale with a warm welcome, the experience is enhanced by the beautiful estate, including the walled garden, deer park and one of the country’s finest cricket grounds.

The summer Festival attracts world-class performers, and the operas enjoy great critical acclaim, with all performances created in collaboration with two renowned orchestras, the Philharmonia and The English Concert. Sumptuous dining can be enjoyed during the extended interval by guests throughout the tents and restaurant, before returning to the pavilion as the sun goes down. Upon exiting the performance, the park is transformed to a magical torch-lit haven.

Beyond the summer Festival, Garsington Opera’s year-round home at Wormsley, Garsington Studios, offers a range of highly flexible rooms and spaces available to hire. From small board meetings and musical recordings all the way to large-scale conferences and filming, the Studios is a purpose-built facility bringing a creative flair beyond that of other conference and meeting venues.
