Founder Tony Gulliver is a is a qualified Blue Badge driver-guide, running tours in the Heart of England and beyond – to the Cotswolds, Stratford, Bath and Stonehenge, as well as Windsor, the Wye Valley and Shropshire. He also happens to be a descendant of the Banbury Gullivers, whose tombs in St Mary’s churchyard inspired Jonathan Swift to a name for the protagonist of Gulliver’s Travels back in the early 18th century. Marvel at one of the world’s most famous prehistoric sites, just a 90-minute drive from Oxford. You can be there and back in 4–5 hours. Or make a whole day out of it, combining your visit with a trip to nearby Bath, another World Heritage Site, as well as the amazing stone circles and prehistoric landscape of Avebury on the way home! Or to nearby Salisbury and its awesome cathedral with the tallest church spire in the country.
