At High Fly Trapeze our experienced instructors provide you with a safe and supportive atmosphere where you can exceed your own expectations by learning how to swing and flip through the air in your very first class. You don’t have to be as strong as you might think, just come armed with a positive attitude and a little bit of brave.
The Flying Trapeze was invented in 1859 by Jules Léotard where he swung over a swimming pool in his father’s gym before going on to perform in Cirque Napoleon. Flying trapeze is seen as the
grandest and most awe inspiring act of the circus world and it is now rapidly becoming the new way to have fun, keep fit and challenge yourself.
In our 2 hour classes we will teach you the basics of flying, do a ground warmup and a practise on a low hanging bar before giving you a demonstration. With several practise swings we will aim to get you to a point where we can catch you by your wrists all within your first class!
Whether you are looking for a new regular activity to keep fit, or just looking to try something new as a one off we are confident you will get all you want from us and more. We can cater for group
bookings be it for team building, birthday parties, stags or hens. We know you will love the flying trapeze. Our season runs till the 4th of September so we hope to see you soon
We are located next to a lovely little café called FLO’s in the park where you can get some lovely cakes and coffee as well as having access to toilets. There is free parking in the park and on the road.
