Welcome to Oxford Festival of the Arts 2018!

24 June – 7 July

We welcome you to join us this year at the Festival for a two-week celebration of culture and creativity. Now in our tenth year we have a packed programme full of over 100 activities, events and performances for you to enjoy. Starting on Saturday 23 June and running through to Saturday 7 July the Festival presents a range of different events including concerts, films, stand-up comedy, speakers, debates, exhibitions, workshops and tours.

Highlights include a star-studded Comedy Night featuring Felicity Ward, John Robins and Nish Kumar. For classical music enthusiasts, there are performances by choral phenomenon VOCES8, mezzo-soprano superstar Anne Sofie von Otter and acclaimed pianist Freddy Kempf. We are also delighted to welcome as part our speaker series politician and author Vince Cable, Olympic athlete Mark Foster and Chaplain to Her Majesty the Queen Reverend Rose Hudson-Wilkin.

In addition, we also have three community days each with their own range of interactive activities, workshops and performances. On Sunday 24 June join us for Circus Day, on 30 June get involved with Arts for All and on Sunday 1 July take a trip Around the World in Eight Nations with a cricket-inspired celebration of culture, crafts and community. We really do have something for everyone!
