Well Loved West Oxfordshire B&B Has Been Renovated

Jun 07 2018

At Gorselands Hall, creating a welcoming and warm environment for all its visitors year-round is a priority. In the past year, the owners Lisa and James Smith, have invested in enhancing their guest experience by updating the central communal sitting room in their lovely house.

The lounge has been opened up with new glass French doors leading into the lounge, elegant window dressings and fresh carpets. Soft country house colours complement the warm red sofas and antique furnishings and enhance the classic flagstone floors in the hallway. In winter, the lounge becomes even cosier with a log fire burning in the inglenook fireplace. There is plenty of seating for large groups up to 15 and it makes a perfect location for drinks, parties or a quiet comfortable place to read during the day, or for board games and a nightcap after dinner.

As a well-established B&B, Gorselands Hall is perfectly situated for visits to an area of outstanding natural beauty. Blenheim Palace is just five miles away and the Cotswolds are close by. With lovely Oxfordshire countryside on the doorstep, Gorselands Hall makes a perfect getaway spot for all walkers and keen cyclists, particularly summer family weddings, business meetings, small group tours or autumn and winter sporting parties.
