Created over the last 120 years, explore the Formal Gardens comprising of the The Water Terrace, The Italian Garden, The Secret Garden, The Rose Garden, and the Churchill Memorial Garden. Blenheim Palace is home to the 12th Duke and Duchess of Marlborough and is the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. It was built in the early 18th Century to celebrate victory over the French in the War of the Spanish Succession and is a true masterpiece of 18th Century Baroque architecture.

Discover the beauty of this World Heritage Site amongst over 2000 acres of ‘Capability’ Brown parkland and Formal Gardens. Ride the miniature train to The Pleasure Gardens, a dedicated family area that offers a giant hedge maze, butterfly house and adventure playground. Tours, exhibitions and events reveal the sheer splendour of Britain’s Greatest Palace.

The Palace

Explore the Palace and discover over 300 years of history. The Palace, Park and Garden ticket enables visitors to experience tours of the;

  • The Untold Story – an animated and interactive visitor experience which brings to life the Palace’s many stories

The Parks

Blenheim Palace’s 2,000 acres of parkland is one of the finest example of renowned landscape architect Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown. Visitors can explore the beautiful landscape by buggy tour or take one of the many walking routes and see a great array of wildlife.

Gardens

Created over the last 120 years, explore the Formal Gardens comprising of the The Water Terrace, The Italian Garden, The Secret Garden, The Rose Garden, and the Churchill Memorial Garden.

There is a free 1 hour daily walking tour exploring the Formal Gardens.

The Pleasure Gardens

The Pleasure Gardens are a great place for children to explore. Attractions include the Miniature Train, Marlborough House Maze, Adventure Playground and Butterfly House.

Cafes and Restaurants

There’s a great selection of places to eat at Blenheim Palace. At the Palace there is the choice of the Orangery Restaurant which serves Brunch, roast dinners and Afternoon Tea. The Pantry and Water Terrace cafes serve coffee, cake, sandwiches and hot meals. The Pleasure Gardens Deli serves pizza, sandwiches, and healthy children’s meals.

Open all year daily (except Christmas Day)
Park: 09.00 – 18.00 or dusk if earlier
Formal Gardens: 10.00 – 17.30
Palace: 10.30 – 17.30 (last admission 16.45)
