The world-renowned University of Oxford is made up of more than 30 different colleges, including Christ Church, one of the largest, and Keble College.

If you are looking for a language school, Oxford International Study Centre is a great option. Located in the heart of Oxford, it delivers a range of programmes, including in English Language, for residents of Oxford as well as international students and visitors. Courses are available for anything from 1 week to a full year, and lesson times can be flexible to suit working arrangements if needed. Students can choose either to join a full-time group programme or to take as many sessions as they like of individual tuition each week.

Activate Learning is a forward-thinking education group working across further and higher education, schools, apprenticeships and training. Activate Learning has two colleges in Oxfordshire, including Banbury and Bicester College and City of Oxford College and University Centre. Both colleges offer a variety of education and training opportunities, ranging from entry level, full-time academic and vocational study programmes, apprenticeships, leisure courses and university-level qualifications.

Oxfordshire has some great places where foreign students can embrace the county’s culture and history, from Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, to one of the world’s oldest libraries, The Bodleian Library. Some great shopping areas are available in a close proximity to the city centre such as the independent local shops in the Oxford Covered Market and the Westgate Oxford shopping and leisure centre.
