To celebrate Marconi Day, the History of Science Museum running an amateur radio station from the Museum.

Using modern equipment, make contact with other amateur radio enthusiasts around the world.
You’ll be part of a global community celebrating International Marconi Day, operating from locations where radio pioneer Guglielmo Marconi developed the technology in the early 1900s.
Try sending and receiving Morse Code messages yourself at the telegraphy station in the Top Gallery.
And join Marconi expert Ken Taylor from Oxford District Radio Society (ODARS) with a tour of the Marconi display Making Waves in the Basement gallery.
Suitable for adults and children 8+
