Crafting a Future We’d Be Proud to Leave to Future Generations

A community crafting session for adults and young people exploring current environmental issues.
A crafting session working together to create community artworks inspired by environmental concerns and hopes. Using upcycled material from old tents and clothes to create wall hangings, flags and bunting to bring attention to the urgent need to act to conserve butterflies and other insects in the UK.
This series of sessions also provide the opportunity to discuss any environmental issues that are on your mind with other like-minded people in a supportive atmosphere and seek effective action that we can take as individuals and communities.
All materials are provided, no experience required. Hot drinks and biscuits also provided. The activity will take place inside at Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre. This session is suitable for adults and young people aged 14+, please note under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
