Classical music enthusiasts should seize the chance to hear not only well known and respected local pianist Anita D’Attellis playing Mozart’s Piano Concerto no. 24, but also the less known but very enjoyable Symphony in D major by Czech composer, Jan Vorisek. Vorisek was a close friend of Franz Schubert, and deeply admired Beethoven’s work. His one and only symphony shows influences from both composers.

Langtree Sinfonia will also be playing four dances from Dvorak’s Legends, which show all his characteristic melodies, harmonies and rhythmic vitality. An evening not to be missed.
