While Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum’s permanent galleries pay tribute to some of the first troops to land in France in the early hours of 6 June 1944, famously capturing Pegasus Bridge, this new display digs deeper into the county’s D-Day story.

This special commemorative exhibition explore show Oxfordshire people trained, planned, and gathered intelligence ahead of the historic invasion. Individual personal accounts are given from the many Oxfordshire people who fought in the campaign, from the county regiment, The Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, but also those with other roles to play.

Admission prices apply – get in free with a valid Blenheim Annual or Privilege pass. Museum opens 11am – 5pm Tuesday – Saturdays, and 2pm – 5pm Sundays.
