This cold war thriller set in suburban London in 1960-61 is based on a true story and will be Directed by BAFTA-award winning writer Laurence Marks (of “Birds of a Feather” fame as well as many hit TV dramas) with Debi Lisburne Diacon as his Co-Director.

Topically relevant in 2024 with things extremely tense between Russia and Europe, Hugh Whitemore has taken this true story from the Cold War era and given us a play which deals in lies and betrayal. This should lead us to question how well do we ever know anyone – even those we believe ourselves to be closest to? Are there Russian spies embedded into your society and friendships? How would you know? How would you feel about being forced into betraying your best friend?
