Join Science Oxford for a fun family Creature Creations workshop at Museum of Oxford where budding scientists aged 5-11 can dress up as their favourite animal and invent creatures with their own superpower survival skills. Using play dough, crafts and natural materials, investigate habitats and invent a brand-new species to take home!

This February half term workshop is suitable for children aged 5-11. Children must be supervised at all times by a parent or carer. One child ticket includes free admission for one accompanying adult. Please ensure all children have their own ticket.

The workshop will last for 60 minutes. There are three sessions in the day: 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2.00pm.

Booking in advance is strongly advised.

Sales from tickets help support the museum’s work to deliver fun and accessible family activities, community engagement projects, schools workshops, exhibitions and special events for Oxford’s people in Museum spaces.

Access:

There is step-free, level entry access to the Town Hall via the entrance closest to Carfax Tower (to the left of the main steps as you face the Town Hall). Inside the Museum, Museum Makers is accessible via a platform lift to the Galleries and then a lift to the basement.

Accessible toilets are available in the Museum (close to Museum Makers) and in the Town Hall on the ground floor, before entering the Museum.
