Following a sold out star speaker events this Autumn, St Mary’s in Kidlington are thrilled to bring you an evening with Debbie Dance, Chair of the Oxford Playhouse at 6pm on the 16th November.

Debbie was Director of Oxford Preservation and is impassioned by Oxford’s historical buildings and their myriad stories, past, present and future. She spearheaded the Open Doors campaign – the hugely popular Oxford scheme that invites and encourages local people to be a tourist in their own city, so far attracting over 35,000 visitors to over 150 events.

Debbie is described as the Gatekeeper to Oxford’s heritage and her palpable love of the city has been instrumental in highlighting awareness for the future of the covered market. She was also highly influential in the success of Oxford Castle’s hugely successful Son et Lumière Festival.
