Música d’Outrora is an early music ensemble founded in 2022 by Galician director and harpsichordist Pablo Devigo. Active internationally, the group specialises in 17th-century Italian repertoire, focusing particularly on the stylus phantasticus, a Baroque compositional style characterised by freedom, fantasy and dramatic contrasts. This afternoon listen to this ensemble’s debut album, which includes the first recording of works by Gregorio Strozzi and Ignazio Albertini alongside sonatas by Castello, Buxtehude and Stradella.

The album, co-produced by Pablo Devigo and Ignasi Cambra, features the collaboration of Christi Park (violin), Timothy Lin (violoncello and viola da gamba), Asako Ueda (theorbo and archlute), Louis Moisan (guitar), Claas Harders (lirone), and Dávid Budai (violone).
