This year’s exhibition brings together new work by recent graduates Leah Olaleye (University of Reading), Naiya Ellis-Woodward (Ruskin School of Art, University of Oxford) and Thomas Sebastino (Oxford Brookes University).
The Shape of What Remains brings together three distinct practices that draw attention to overlooked histories, marginal landscapes and the traces of human activity. Spanning textiles, installation and animation, the exhibition considers how objects and materials can hold memories and shape our understanding of everyday life.
Platform supports artists during the first year after graduation – a critical period when the loss of university support and financial pressures can test an artist’s commitment to their practice.
The exhibition is organised and curated in partnership with associate curator Sarah Mossop.
Free, booking not required.
