Music at Worcester presents an exclusive preview of new work from the Royal Academy of Music. Join students from the Royal Academy of Music and George Xiaoyuan Fu for a special preview of a programme to be performed at The Frick Collection in New York later this year. Master’s student Shin Kim has written a piano trio in response to the Frick’s atmospheric ‘Symphony in Grey and Green: The Ocean’ by James McNeill Whistler. This new works forms the centre of the programme, which also reflects on the work of J. M. W. Turner with James B. Wilson’s ‘Turner’s Ships’, a work composed for the Royal Academy of Music’s 200 PIECES series in 2022.
