Discover Oxford by City Sightseeing’s open-top bus, to see more of the city when it returns on the 12th April, 2021.
City Sightseeing Oxford are taking extra precautions to keep you safe, while still giving you the full experience. They have been granted “We’re Good to Go” status by VisitEngland, as well as “Safe travels” status by the World Travel and Tourism Council. This means their safety protocols meet the strictest requirements, giving you peace of mind when you visit.
The popular City Sightseeing Oxford tour will operate 09:30 – 17:00 and will depart every 30 minutes Mondays – Thursday and every 20 minutes Friday – Sunday. Frequency will increase during the summer and school holidays. See the bus timetable for more details.
Ticket is valid for 24 or 48 hours from first use on bus, and you can get on and off at any of the 20 stops on the tour. Download the map for more details on where the stops are located.
The City & University route lasts approximately 1 hour. Pre-recorded commentary in English, Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Japanese, Italian, Russian, Swedish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Portuguese, and Polish. Kids Club Commentary also available.
The popular Stepping Through Oxford walking tour will re-commence from 12 April, in line with the Open Top Bus Tour and is included in the price of your ticket. Tours commence from Bus Stop 8 every 30 minutes from 11:00 until 15:30, 7 days a week.
