Visitor Economy Business Survey 2023-2024

Experience Oxfordshire, the county’s Local Visitor Economy Partnership and Destination Management Organisation, is gathering feedback from as many businesses across Oxfordshire as possible on current business confidence. 

For many businesses 2023 has brought a welcome return of business following the unprecedented impact of the global pandemic, whilst for others the economic downturn and resulting rise in the cost of living has prolonged the distress.  Experience Oxfordshire is therefore keen to hear from you, as an operator within the county’s visitor economy, regarding your experiences of operating within the county during the last year.  Your input will inform our dealings with opinion formers and decision makers at local and national government and in developing our marketing activity and strategic plans.

We are interested in your performance over 2023, and also your predictions for 2024. We also wish to know about skill shortages that may be affecting you. Finally, we are interested in your views on the type of business support you need to develop and adapt your offer as we look to build a year-round visitor economy that thrives.
