Activate Learning are excited to welcome visitors on-site to showcase its extensive range of study programmes and employment opportunities at the City of Oxford College and University Centre City-Centre campus during the Open Event on Saturday 18 October 2025, 9.30-12pm.
Learn more about our study, leisure and professional programmes
Come and listen to various subject area presentations on offer to visitors at the city-centre campus, as well as:
- Meeting current students and learning more about day-to-day life at college
- Attending the Welcome to Campus presentation, led by the Campus Director of City of Oxford College and University Centre
- Discovering the college’s selection of GCSE, A Level, T Level, and BTEC programmes
- Sampling some our culinary arts students’ tasty creations
- Learning about Access to Higher Education programmes that can offer a fast-track route into university
- Talking with T-Level tutors to learn more about T-Level programmes and the opportunities they offer
- Hearing more about A Level programmes and their benefits at the A Levels talk
- Attending beauty therapy, hairdressing and media makeup demos
- Seeing creativity come to life in the art and design, media, music and performing arts facilities
- Discovering opportunities with the Activate Rugby Academy, and adjacent Accommodation team
- Experiencing a realistic hospital setting as you tour the state-of-the-art care suite
- Discussing how Activate Learning can help you improve your English skills
- Finding out how we can support you if you have additional educational needs
Activate Learning staff will be available to discuss your options and plan out a learning pathway that works for you. Careers Advisors will also be on hand to chat to if you are undecided or need expert, independent advice.
The friendly Student Services team will be able to discuss bursaries and financial support that may be available to you. They can also talk about the enrichment activities currently on offer to our students.
You will be able to explore the excellent facilities, talk through all your options and even submit your application early to guarantee your place for next year!

Khalid Rahmati studied the GCSE Science Pathway last year and has now progressed onto an Access to Higher Education programme at City of Oxford College and University Centre.
