Activate Learning are excited to welcome visitors on-site to showcase their extensive range of study programmes and employment opportunities at The Leys College during the Open Event on Saturday 11 October, 9.30am–12pm.
Learning more about our study, leisure and professional programmes
Come and explore various technical workshops with expert tutors, as well as:
- Meeting current students and learning more about day-to-day life at college
- Attending the Welcome to Campus presentation, led by the Campus Director of The Leys College
- Talking with the T level team to learn more about the programmes and the opportunities they may offer
- Discovering apprenticeship programmes and their benefits at the Activate Apprenticeships stand.
- Discovering the South-Central Institute of Technology (SCIoT) hub at The Leys College, where you can learn about the digital programmes available and gain an insight into data analytics and software development
- Touring our esports facilities
Activate Learning staff will be available to discuss your options and plan out a learning pathway that works for you. Careers Advisors will also be on hand to chat to if you are undecided or need expert, independent advice.
The friendly Student Services team will be able to discuss bursaries and financial support that may be available to you. They can also talk about the enrichment activities currently on offer to our students.
You will be able to explore the excellent facilities, talk through all your options and even submit your application early to guarantee your place for next year!
