Blenheim Palace announces a line-up of summer activities for families to mark 75th anniversary

Blenheim Palace is marking 75 years since first opening its doors to the public with a summer-long celebration, featuring a line up of all-new and exciting activities for families to experience within the Walled Garden and Adventure Play.
Within the Walled Garden from 26th July, young explorers and their families can expect…
- Pip and Posy Races – daily at 11am and 3pm
Visitors can choose whether they are team Pip or Posy and go head to head in a range of activities within the Walled Garden including hula hoop skipping, wheelbarrow races, hobby horse races, and spin the hoop.
- Pip and Posy Meet & Greets – 26th, 27th July and 23rd, 24th, 25th August
Fans can get the opportunity to meet the characters themselves at specific intervals throughout the day and snap the perfect selfie. Costumed characters on specific dates only. See www.blenheimpalace.com for more information.
- Pip and Posy Storytelling – daily at 12pm
Sit in the orchard and join storytelling sessions of the beloved Pip and Posy books read by the Adventure Play guides.
- Making rainbow streamers – daily at 2pm
Be inspired by the Rainbow Treasure Hunt and the giant rainbow installation in Adventure Play and get crafty to create rainbow streamers.
- Bubble show – 2nd, 3rd, 30th, 31st August
Families can be mesmerised by bubble shows on specific weekends throughout the summer.
- Kite making – 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th August
Get creative by designing and crafting a kite to see how high it will fly within the Walled Garden.
Throughout summer, visitors can also see the stables in action, as a different horse will be there every weekend from 10am-3pm.
For families, the new 3D interactive experience in Adventure Play invites children to join Pip and Posy on a Rainbow Treasure Hunt, inspired by an episode from Pip and Posy Magic Light Pictures’ hugely popular pre-school series which airs on Sky Kids and Channel 5’s Milkshake!
Pip and Posy Play at the Palace completely transforms Adventure Play with life-size 3D character installations, themed activities, soundscapes, and a magical treasure trail that promises giggles, surprises, and plenty of photo moments for long lasting family memories.
Families looking to visit Pip and Posy Play at the Palace will need a Palace and Play Pass, which grants access to both Blenheim Palace and Adventure Play for a full year, making it fantastic value for regular visitors. A Palace and Play Pass is available at £165 for a family of four (two adults and two children) and at £51 per adult and £41 per child for individual day passes.

Adventure Play is the biggest family-themed attraction in the history of Blenheim Palace. Hidden within the Walled Garden, the outdoor immersive area for mini explorers is where young imaginations can run wild.
