Blenheim Palace hosts charity fundraising dinner in aid of Silver Star Maternity Fund

Blenheim Palace will be hosting a special fundraising dinner on Friday 26th September in support of the Silver Star Maternity Fund, the UNESCO World Heritage Site’s official Charity of the Year.
Each year, Blenheim staff nominate and vote for one charity to support, and for the past year they have been raising vital funds for Silver Star Maternity Fund. The charity has long supported the Silver Star Unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital, funding essential research, groundbreaking specialist equipment, and staff wellbeing initiatives. The Unit cares for around 500 mothers and babies each year, many of whom experience serious or rare complications during pregnancy.
Silver Star has recently expanded its work to benefit maternity services across the entire John Radcliffe, meaning even more families will receive support.
Tables of ten are available, and tickets are priced at £80 per person. Attendees will also hear directly from Silver Star representatives about the impact of their work in Oxfordshire and beyond.
The evening, set in the stunning Orangery at Blenheim Palace, promises to be a night to remember. Guests will enjoy a welcome drink, followed by a delicious three-course dinner featuring produce grown on the Blenheim Palace Estate with paired wines. Entertainment will be provided by a talented live duo, and the event will also feature a lively auction, hosted by a celebrity auctioneer, as well as a tombola with exciting prizes.
Dominic Hare, CEO Blenheim Palace said: “We’re delighted to be supporting Silver Star Maternity Fund as our Charity of the Year. This event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their vital work while raising much-needed funds to ensure more mothers and babies can receive the care they deserve.”
All proceeds from the evening will go directly to Silver Star Maternity Fund, supporting the Unit’s pioneering work and helping to provide exceptional care for mothers, babies, and maternity staff.
