Last chance to make your vote count in Brand the Bus! 2024

The public have two weeks left to cast their vote in the Oxford Bus Company Brand the Bus! 2024 competition, to have a say in which good cause could be displayed on a double-decker.

48 good causes have entered the popular giving back competition and so far, more than 6000 votes have been cast – and there is still time to take part and vote. The deadline to vote is 23.59 on 2nd February.

The competition gives people the opportunity to nominate their favourite good cause to win an advertising package worth £40,000, including having their branding emblazoned on one of Oxford Bus Company’s new electric buses.

Good causes that have entered include Sobell House, The Unicorn School, Aspire Oxfordshire, Be Free Young Carers, Oxford United the Community, Ready Easy Oxford, Yellow Submarine and Play2Give.

Luke Marion, Managing Director of Oxford Bus Company, said: “It’s brilliant to see so many good causes enter Brand the Bus! 2024.

“With just two weeks to go to cast votes we are encouraging people to get involved. It is an opportunity for people to have their say on which good cause could be supported this year.

“It is an historic year for Brand the Bus! as the winning good cause will be placed on an electric bus for the first time as we accelerate progress towards an all-electric City fleet.”

The 10 entries that are deemed best according to a public vote will be shortlisted and examined by a judging panel. Prizes will be awarded to the competitors who have, in the panel’s opinion, fulfilled the brief to the highest standard. The winning organisation will be invited to work with the Oxford Bus Company to design a bus wrap featuring the brand colours, logo and messages of the charity. It will also receive a year’s worth of advertising with the Greatest Hits Radio.

Two runners-up entries will win advertising packages worth £2,000 and £1,000 respectively.
