Perfect for beginners (though some hand strength is needed to make the most of this workshop) and those with a creative flair, this hands-on session will guide you through the techniques of weaving and shaping willow to bring this intricate creature to life and take home a delightful handmade piece to display in your garden. You can take your sculpture home to hang or mount them on a stake in the class.

These workshops are suitable for beginners, but please be aware that weaving can be physically demanding on the hands. People with reduced hand strength, arthritis, or similar conditions may find the activity challenging. Unfortunately, the museum are unable to provide additional space for helpers or support persons in the workshop area.
