Fairytale Farm conjures up spellbinding family fun this Halloween

Fairytale Farm’s much-loved Halloween event returns for 2025 with a brand-new magical twist. This year’s Scarily Ever After: Fairy Tale Villains invites families to join the Bumbling Wizard from Oz and Westy, the Un-wicked Witch of the West, for a week of spellbinding fun, riddles, pumpkins and mischievous magic.

Visitors can follow the Mystical Trail, solving enchanting puzzles and riddles to fill their Spell Book Passport, before meeting Westy herself to learn a few harmless Halloween spells. Down the Yellow Sunflower Trail, the Munchkins’ Pumpkin Patch awaits — with a free pumpkin for every child to carve and take home.

Other highlights include pumpkin carvingface paintingwitchy crafts, and the farm’s famous Illuminated Gardens, which switch on at dusk each evening to transform the farm into a shimmering wonderland of light and colour — included in every Halloween ticket at no extra cost.

Nick Laister, owner of Fairytale Farm, said:

“Scarily Ever After is all about fun rather than fright. We love creating a magical Halloween that’s full of character and imagination, where families can make memories together without the scares.”

For those wanting an extra sprinkle of Halloween excitement, the Potions & Spells Illuminations Party returns on Thursday 30th and Friday 31st October, with exclusive evening activities including potion-making workshops, witchy storytelling, and trick-or-treat bingo — plus a delicious hot meal and late-night access to the illuminated gardens. Nick added:

“Our Illuminations Party is always one of the most popular events of the year. There’s something very special about seeing the farm come alive after dark, lit up with magical colours and laughter.”
