Free festive character visits at Westgate Oxford: last remaining tickets
Families are encouraged to snap up the last remaining tickets to this month’s free character meet and greets at Westgate Oxford, with upcoming sessions including The Grinch, The Snowman™ & The Snowdog, and more.
The events take place every weekend until 21st December in Leiden Square, and guests must book free tickets in advance to secure admittance. To receive ticket information and links, guests can sign up to PLUS+ for free at https://www.westgateoxford.co.uk/en/plus.
There will be five sessions each day, all fully accessible, with one daily slot designed to be suitable for Special Educational Needs.
The remaining events include:
- 13th December: Wallace & Gromit
- 14th December: Elves Behavin’ Badly
- 20th December: The Grinch
- 21st December: The Snowman™ & The Snowdog
Guests are also invited to enjoy free live performances from choirs and performers in-centre throughout December, including Rock Choir, Queen’s College Choir, and more.
Westgate Oxford will be open late in the run up to Christmas, until 9pm from 18th – 23rd December (excluding Sunday 21st), ideal for any last-minute shoppers. The centre will even be open from 10am – 5pm on Christmas Eve, and from 10am – 6pm on 26th December for guests keen to seek out any Boxing Day bargains.
To offer a helping hand with the wrapping, guests can make a donation of £3 in return for having their gifts expertly wrapped by volunteers from local charity partners right up to 24th December.
To recover once the shopping is complete, guests can enjoy seasonal menus at Westgate Oxford’s variety of restaurants. For an extra-special festive experience, Victors’ magical rooftop igloos are now open for booking, seating up to eight people and guaranteed to be cosy with heaters and blankets. Visitors can also embrace the festive spirit with some Christmas party fun at Westgate Oxford’s leisure activities, including competitive socialising at Flight Club, puzzle-solving at Escape Hunt, quirky fun at Junkyard Golf, or catching a festive film at Curzon.
