The Feathers joins Small Luxury Hotels of the World

The Feathers, boutique hotel in the historic market town of Woodstock, has officially joined Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH). SLH is a prestigious community of over 620 independently minded hotels across more than 90 countries, each recognised for individuality, authenticity, and exceptional guest experience.

The Feathers is now part of this exclusive network, positioning the property on a global stage for discerning travellers seeking authentic experiences and independent spirit. Located just steps from Blenheim Palace and at the gateway to the Cotswolds, the hotel offers timeless English charm, elevated with contemporary design and warm, personal service.

The Feathers reopened in October 2024 after an impressive multi-million-pound renovation, where each of the 23 rooms and suites, restaurant, bar and lobby were completely reimagined by the world renowned AGC BTR. The design takes inspiration from the surrounding landscape for the hotel’s colour palette including hues of natural stone, unique to Woodstock and the Cotswolds, as well as shades inspired by the expansive green spaces that encapsulate Oxfordshire to create bright and modern spaces.

The Feathers’ membership reinforces its status as a destination hotel, elevating both Woodstock and the Cotswolds within the global luxury travel landscape.
