Westgate Oxford to bring festive cheer with live music performances this Christmas
Westgate Oxford is launching a series of community-led events and charity activations this festive season as part of its ’30 Days of Westgate Christmas’ initiative, aiming to bring the centre to life with live performances and Christmas cheer throughout November and December.
Guests will be able to enjoy a variety of free live performances throughout the Christmas period from performers and choirs including award-winning group Rock Choir and Oxford’s only local community folk choir, Rising Voices.
Queen’s College Choir, who have been named one of the finest university choirs in the country by Classic FM, will also be performing alongside choirs from local charities, with guests encouraged to make a charitable donation while on site.

Westgate Oxford will also be offering a gift-wrapping service in support of several local charity partners. Guests will be encouraged to make a donation of £3 in return for having their gifts expertly wrapped by volunteers from charities on the following dates:
- 24th – 30th November: Style Acre, providing supported living and opportunities to people with a learning disability and/or autism
- 1st –7th December: The Parasol Project, which is committed to redressing the balance for disabled and disadvantaged children and young people experiencing, or at risk of, social exclusion.
- 8th – 14th December: ASPIRE, which empowers people to rebuild their lives and futures and realise their potential by providing person-centred employment, enterprise development, housing and support opportunities.
- 15th – 20th December: Sobell House Hospice, providing compassionate care to people in Oxfordshire facing life-limiting illness, and support to their family and friends.
- 21st – 24th December: Raise 25, which exist to unite leading Oxfordshire businesses with leading Oxfordshire charities to achieve incredible social impact.
Savvy shoppers can also make the festive season even easier, as members of the PLUS+ rewards club can take advantage of PLUS+ Concierge, a free service allowing users to browse and dine without carrying shopping bags. All purchases are stored by Guest Services for collection or home delivery, so presents can be wrapped – and delivered – quickly and easily, for free, on-site.
