A Smarter Move: three months mortgage-free and lower energy bills at Hill Rise

Blenheim Estate Homes is offering prospective homeowners the chance of a double saving this summer, with a three-month mortgage holiday and the chance to benefit from a wealth of sustainability features at Hill Rise in Woodstock, its new innovative low-carbon and energy efficient community.
The three-month mortgage holiday is available to any buyers who complete in 2026, meaning no mortgage payments until 2027*.
With the Ofgem energy price cap increasing by 13% from this month, conserving energy usage has never been more important. Homes at the award-winning Hill Rise development benefit from a wealth of sustainable energy features including:
- Intelligent ventilation:
- Gently clears steam from bathrooms and kitchens
- Keeps the air fresh and clean
- Brings in a controlled, steady flow of outdoor air
- Runs quietly in the background.
- Highest Rated Energy Performance
- Every home is designed to reach the top grade of energy rating or Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).
- Hill Rise homes achieve an ‘A’ Rating (92 points or more on the scale), with a current average of 96 points. Standard rules only ask for a ‘C’ rating, so Hill Rise homes perform far above the required norm.
- Zero Carbon Operation
- Homes are fitted with enough solar panels to produce 100% of the electricity needed for heating, hot water, lighting, and ventilation.
- All properties have air source heat pumps installed, which removes any reliance on gas for energy.
Built in partnership with Pye Homes, Hill Rise offers new homes that have sustainability, wellbeing, and community at its core. The development will deliver up to 180 highly energy-efficient homes with an initial 48 homes in the first phase of building.
Offering a variety of two, three, and four-bedroom homes, including 50% affordable housing, the development aims to foster a diverse and inclusive community. The scheme was one of the winners in the 2024 Housing Design Awards.
Karis McMahon-Lane, Marketing Manager for Pye Homes and Blenheim Estate Homes, said: “Our latest offer at Hill Rise is a win-win for house hunters – the opportunity to not only save on their energy bills but also benefit from a substantial break from mortgage payments, and use that money on other expenditures for the home.”
