Experience Oxfordshire launches ‘Inspirational Oxfordshire’ Arts and Culture campaign

Experience Oxfordshire, the Destination Management Organisation (DMO) for Oxfordshire is delighted to announce the launch of a new Arts and Culture campaign in partnership with Oxfordshire’s internationally celebrated arts, heritage and culture sector to promote Oxford and Oxfordshire as a prestigious world-renowned cultural destination.

The Inspirational Oxfordshire campaign, launched today, celebrates the wealth of arts and culture across the county and will run into October 2021. The campaign involves 32 cultural organisations across Oxfordshire, ranging from museums and art galleries to theatres and festivals. The campaign will promote the county to both international and domestic visitors, as a welcoming and accessible place to visit, bursting with amazing culture and talent.

Experience Oxfordshire will highlight the world-renowned Arts and Culture in Oxfordshire via a dedicated landing page on its website, which will also include a promotional video capturing the diversity and exceptional talent that we have in the county. Experience Oxfordshire will also promote the numerous events happening throughout the summer to an extensive audience through its website, social media channels and targeted e-mail campaigns all using #InspirationalOx

Hayley Beer-Gamage, Chief Executive of Experience Oxfordshire said:

“We are delighted to be working with the Arts and Culture Network to deliver this exciting new campaign. Arts and Culture is a huge part of Oxfordshire’s visitor economy offering and this is a great opportunity to showcase our fantastic organisations and venues alongside truly inspirational events and activities. The Inspirational Oxfordshire campaign aims to put Oxford and Oxfordshire front of mind for cultural activity and ensures we are a destination of choice for those visitors looking for a truly inspirational visit. This is part of our ongoing work to help support the sector that has been severely impacted by the pandemic.”

Paul Hobson, Director of Modern Art Oxford on behalf of the arts and culture network said:

“Oxfordshire offers a truly inspirational cultural offer that embraces all art forms – there really is something for everyone! We want visitors both nationally and internationally to know that we are open to receive them and extend the warmest and safest welcome to our world-renowned venues and events, where they can enjoy truly unmissable world-class culture.”

As part of the Inspirational Oxfordshire campaign new inspirational video content has been commissioned with a new showcase video being an important part of the campaign over the coming months. The full Inspirational Oxfordshire site and video can be viewed at  www.experienceoxfordshire.org/arts-and-culture. There are also a great range of arts and culture events taking place all year round which can be viewed on the Experience Oxfordshire event page www.experienceoxfordshire.org/whats-on/
