Fairytale Farm Launches Inclusive SEND Christmas Fairytale Experience for 2025

Fairytale Farm in Chipping Norton has announced details of its Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) Christmas Fairytale sessions for 2025 — a calm, inclusive and magical version of its popular festive event, designed so that every family can enjoy the wonder of Christmas at their own pace.

Running alongside the main Christmas Fairytale 2025 event (which runs every weekend from 22nd November and every day from 8th December), the SEND sessions offer families a gentler, more relaxed experience of all the festive highlights — including meeting Father Christmas in his cosy Grotto, exploring the Fairytale Castle, wandering through the Victorian Wonderland inspired by A Christmas Carol, and enjoying the illuminated winter trail that transforms Fairytale Farm into a glowing wonderland.

SEND sessions will take place on Friday 5 December (10am–5pm), and Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 December (5pm–6pm). The two evening sessions will be exclusively for SEND visitors, with the entire farm closed to the general public, while the daytime session will feature a calm environment where the Christmas Fairytale experience is reserved solely for SEND families.

Fairytale Farm owner Nick Laister said:

“Christmas at Fairytale Farm is all about creating joy and magic for every child. Our SEND sessions make sure that families who prefer a calmer, more predictable experience can still enjoy the full sparkle of the Christmas Fairytale — without the crowds or the rush.”

He added:

“We’ve designed these sessions to be truly inclusive. From gentler lighting and sound levels to a slower pace and friendly staff support, it’s a chance for families to make beautiful festive memories together in a relaxed, understanding atmosphere. Adults with special needs are welcome too.”

The SEND sessions include the full Christmas Fairytale experience — from the enchanted Fairytale Castle and dancing penguins to the Toymaker’s Cabin, Tom’s Toy Shop, and the glowing light displays. Children receive a special Christmas Passport to be stamped by Santa’s elves along the journey, culminating in a private, unhurried visit to Father Christmas himself.

Carers are admitted free of charge, and the farm’s facilities are fully accessible. Spaces are limited to ensure a peaceful atmosphere, so advance booking is essential.
