Fairytale Farm unveils magical makeover of its Mermaid Garden

Fairytale Farm has unveiled a refreshed Mermaid Garden, adding a wave of new features designed to delight families by day and after dark. The enhanced area now includes two new mermaids, a ruined sea-temple, a giant anchor, and plentiful fish details, creating an immersive photo-friendly space that also glows with illumination on selected evenings.

The Mermaid Garden has always been a visitor favourite, so we set out to make it even more memorable,” said Nick Laister, owner of Fairytale Farm. “With new sculptures, a beautifully aged temple ruin and playful nautical touches, it now offers a richer story in the daytime—and a stunning illuminated experience in the evening. We can’t wait for families to discover the new details around every corner.

What’s new

  • Two new mermaid figures carefully positioned for great family photo moments

  • ruined sea-temple backdrop adding atmosphere and a sense of discovery

  • giant anchor and shoals of fish integrated throughout the scene

  • Evening illumination that transforms the space after sunset on selected dates

The Mermaid Garden makeover is included with standard admission and is located a short stroll from the Storybook area, with accessible paths throughout.

Visitors during the day can stay on and see the Illuminated Gardens at no extra charge (weekends and October half-term only).
