Retail Sales Assistant
The Ashmolean Museum is the University of Oxford’s Museum of art and archaeology, welcoming visitors from around the world. The Commercial Department generates vital income for the Museum through its shops and other commercial activities, and this is an exciting opportunity to join its Retail & Ticketing Team.
You will provide excellent customer service while helping to maximise sales across the Museum’s shops. Working with the EPoS Galaxy Ticketing System, you will sell products, memberships and tickets to exhibitions and events, as well as promote souvenir guides, donations and Gift Aid contributions.
This is a permanent variable hours (paid as claimed) post. Hours will be worked flexibly over a seven-day rota, including weekends, some Bank Holidays and occasional evenings.
