The NEW Oxford Official Pub Tour – with drinks included!
1.5 hours – Starting from The Mitre, one of the oldest Pubs of Oxford, on the High Street Oxford OX1 4AG at 7pm (and NOT the Visitor Information Centre!)
Tickets must be pre-booked either in person at the Visitor Information Centre, or by phone on 01865 686 441, or online via this page, by 5pm.
A great way to spend an evening, our new Pub Tour offers you the chance to sample some of Oxford’s most historic fare: mead and beer (or whatever tipple takes your fancy) – in the company of a charming expert Blue/Green badge Guide, who can show you down the hidden alleyways to some of the oldest pubs of Oxford.
This is not a pub crawl – well, not exactly – but will stop for a ‘quick half’ en route and finish at a pub where you can relax by the fire (during the winter).
Don’t take our word for it! Here’s some recently-published reading material:
Your friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic Guide will be highly trained and professional and will be wearing a Blue or Green Badge awarded by the Institute of Tourist Guiding. Your Guide will also be a member of the Oxford Guild of Tour Guides. They will be happy to help with any questions and also to advise on what else you might like to see as part of your stay in Oxford.
